Aluquip is a Quebec manufacturing company specializing in custom aluminum utility equipment, particularly for the transportation sector.

Get to know our history
Our beginnings
Based in Saint-Damien-de-Brandon, Aluquip is a Quebec-based manufacturer of aluminum transportation equipment. Drawing on the experience of the family business Soudure P. Desrosiers, which had been making its mark in metal fabrication since 1975, Nathalie Desrosiers surrounded herself with a young, dynamic team to found Aluquip in 1996. In the early days, Aluquip produced mainly aluminum boxes for trailers and trucks. Over the years, Aluquip diversified its production to offer its growing clientele custom-made products, truck utility platforms, tippers, service boxes, as well as the outfitting of workshop vans and service vehicles.

Arrival of Stéphane
The arrival of Stéphane Desrosiers as partner marks a turning point for the company. Stéphane's experience, previously a mechanical analyst in the aerospace industry, is proving to be an indispensable asset in repositioning the organization as it targets new markets.
2005
Equipment
Addition of a CNC cutting table and a CNC press brake to increase productivity and reinforce our seal of quality.
2010
CWB
Certification of the company by the Canadian Welding Bureau, in keeping with our vision of quality in the products we offer.
Transport Canada
Received our National Safety Mark from Transport Canada.
2014
Event
Change of governance following the tragic death of Nathalie, Stéphane is appointed Chairman.

Sales of our products begin in the United States.

Purchase of a laser cutting table to support our production capacity and always with a view to offering superior quality products.

Certifications
Aluquip is accredited by the CWB (47.2 and 47.1) and is authorized to use the National Safety Mark issued by Transport Canada.

The company is also a member of the Association des professionnels de l'outillage municipal (APOM) and Alliance Métal Québec.
